CJH Studio, led by Cassie James-Herrick, creates a strong contrast with Penthouse M, distinguishing it from the typically lavish homes in the Gold Coast. The design philosophy embraces a minimalistic approach, incorporating the building's unique features, such as its curved facade and glass-brick walls, into a more timeless fit-out.

The design of Penthouse M employs a series of beige tones, drawing inspiration from the serene beachside setting, while the selected materials play crucial role in achieving its distinctive aesthetic. The interior features travertine floor tiles, which were carefully restored to preserve the apartment's original charm.

In the kitchen, a light greige color on the cabinets and white mosaic tiles pair beautifully with a beige natural stone, creating a modest yet elegant color scheme. This palette extends to the wooden dining table enclosed by white tubular frame chairs in the nearby living space. A long, taupe-colored sofa and a couple of cozy armchairs with boucle upholstery complete the rest of the décor.

Check out four different product alternatives to the ones found in Penthouse M.

The light travertine floors in the kitchen and dining areas blend seamlessly into the American oakwood stair treads, leading to soft beige carpet in the bedrooms. The bathrooms, particularly striking for their light tan wall tile and terrazzo flooring, offer a serene, beach-inspired retreat.
