From the playful elegance of Naïve Bar to the coastal charm of Burleigh Pavilion and the sophisticated workspace of Canopy Jackson Square, today we explore how each of these designs blends form and function, transforming everyday environments into extraordinary experiences.
Naïve Bar
Designed by AKZ Architectura, the atmosphere of Naïve Bar evokes a celebratory mood reminiscent of sparkling wine. The bar’s design is characterized by soft blush pink walls, akin to wine hues, with playful blue-dotted accents on one wall.
This delicate palette is complemented by light pink pressed concrete floors, which feature intentional stains and cracks for visual interest. The space is enriched by mirrors, metallic elements, and a golden bar counter that enhance lighting and spatial perception.
Black-and-white mosaic tiles and green fabric curtains introduce additional layers of texture, while custom Art Deco pieces and velvet upholstery with curved lines invite guests to indulge in luxury and comfort.

Burleigh Pavilion
Situated on Burleigh Heads' shore, Burleigh Pavilion blends nostalgic charm with contemporary flair. It's design features a robust yet neutral backdrop of polished concrete floors and painted concrete block walls, which set off tropical elements like rattan ceiling panels and vibrant plants.
The colour scheme is predominantly muted, punctuated by vibrant touches such as pale pink tiles and mint-green chairs.

Artful details, from mismatched dining ware to colourful terrazzo tables and unique artwork, create an inviting, eclectic atmosphere, while exposed bulbs and shiny-gold light fixtures contribute to a warm, cosy ambiance ideal for evening gatherings.
Canopy Jackson Square
Inspired by San Francisco's North Beach, Canopy Jackson Square offers a refreshing workspace alternative. This design features private glass-enclosed offices, a café, and open work areas, centered around a lounge with mid-green fabric and beige and pale pink accents.
Metal tables and swivel chairs echo the space's colour palette, which harmonizes with the adjacent bookstore's historic façade and the oxidized copper of the Coppola Sentinel building.
The reception area contrasts with the bright workspaces through its stained wood and moody atmosphere, while light-coloured wooden slats and exposed concrete in the common area enhance acoustics.
