Inspired by a blend of Scandinavian and Japanese design philosophies, known as Japandi, Studio Frantzén, transformed by Joyn Studio, harmoniously integrates traditional craftsmanship elements with modern luxury aesthetics.
Central to the design is the use of cherry wood, which adds warmth and texture throughout the restaurant. The cladding of curved walls in cherry wood enhances the space's cosy atmosphere, complemented by ceiling illustrations of Nordic animals.
Luxurious marble and bespoke geometric terrazzo flooring define the dining area, offering both elegance and durability. These materials underscore the upscale aesthetic while supporting sustainable design principles.
The integration of glass bricks in the bar and a copper ceiling adds visual appeal and warmth to the ambience. Swedish artists contribute bespoke artworks, enriching the cultural narrative of Studio Frantzén. These collaborations infuse the space with a unique blend of Nordic and Asian influences, reflective of the fusion cuisine served.
