In Rome's Flaminio district, a stone's throw from the National Gallery of Modern Art and the MAXXI Museum, lies this intentionally unfinished apartment designed by local architecture and interiors studio 02A. Antique and mid-century furnishings seamlessly blend with contemporary cabinetry in this unique space.
Covering 130 square meters on the ground floor of an early twentieth-century building, this apartment is surrounded by the beauty of nature. Stepping into the apartment, you're greeted by the living area where a glass wall slices through the ornate barrel-vaulted ceiling.
Moving into the adjacent kitchen, the terracotta-red ceiling is paired with brushed granite countertops, set against white and yellow wall units that harmonise with the original flooring.
Beyond the kitchen, the lounge showcases meticulously restored solid oak parquet flooring. This elegant backdrop hosts leather sofas, 1940s French art deco armchairs, an antique Venetian lantern, and a curated selection of photographs and sculptures.

An arched passage leads from the lounge to a more intimate dining area, illuminated by an Illan birch pendant lamp by Luceplan. Here, a glass-surface table is surrounded by 1950s chairs, creating a cozy dining setting.

Separated from the main living area by a discreet doorway, you'll find the apartment's bedroom, study, and two bathrooms. The bedroom is designed as a suite with an open bathroom, cleverly concealed behind mirrored screens.
The second bathroom is more spacious, featuring a suspended ceramic tub, sleek black marble surfaces, and walls adorned with Palm Jungle wallpaper.
