Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s Grand Salon in Paris, the design of Mayfair Residence by Child Studio blends Art Deco opulence with the clean lines of 1960s and 70s modernism.
Inside, the material palette combines dark wood, marble, and textile fabrics, creating a textured environment that is both sophisticated and inviting.

Crafted wooden library walls subdivide the open space into distinct zones for dining, lounging, and studying. Used extensively in these crafted walls and custom cabinetry, mahogany wood provides a rich, warm backdrop of the space.
Elegance and a tactile quality to surfaces is added through patterned marble enhancing the luxurious feel of the space. A refreshing contrast, complementing the wooden tones and marble patterns is introduced through green upholstery adding a touch of vibrancy and warmth to the interior.
The residence features a curated mix of 20th-century collectible furniture and diverse artworks, creating a rich, layered interior. Notable pieces include the 'Pernilla' lounge chair by Bruno Mathsson, the bentwood Caprani floor lamp, and artworks by George Braque and Man Ray.
